In Loving Memory
Beads and Jewelry to honor those who have touched our
lives and left their mark forever on our hearts An original and unique way to honor a loved one or a beloved pet.Memorial beads (also known as memory beads or keepsake
beads) are a beautiful way to remember our loved ones and to bring a small
measure of comfort to survivors. A small amount of cremated remains are
incorporated into glass to make a lasting tribute to your loved one. I held on to my father’s ashes for a very long time before I
did anything with them. It’s been many years since he’s passed and though I
still miss him and it still hurts, my little glass treasures still provide a
measure of solace.
If you would like an original and unique way to honor a loved one or a beloved pet, I would be honored to make a remembrance for you. Please
feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. If you are in the Billings area, or I am in
your area (see my show schedule for details) I would be pleased to meet with
you in person. All memorial jewelry is made personally by me in my home
studio and all loved ones are treated with care and respect throughout the
process. Any cremains remaining after the creation of your memorial will be
returned to you.
Most of my bead and sculpture designs can be used to make a memorial bead. If you are local to me, we can meet and discuss your needs in person.
If we cannot meet in person, please email for a kit.
FAQs
How are my loved ones ashes treated? All memorial jewelry is made personally by me in my home
studio and all loved ones are treated with care and respect throughout the
process.
How much ash does it take? It takes an amazingly small amount of ash to create a bead, usually, less than 1/2 teaspoon.
What if you don't use all the ashes? Any cremains remaining after the creation of your memorial will be
returned to you.
How do I get the ashes to you? If you are in the Billings area, or I am in
your area (see my show schedule for details) I would be pleased to meet with
you in person. You can also order a kit. When I receive your order I will send you a kit containing everything you need to gather the ashes and return them safely to me. Return postage is included.
Will I see the ashes? How will they look? I can make your with the ashes seen or unseen. They look a lot like little bubbles in the bead. The bubbles come from moisture, CO2, and minerals in the ashes. This can also effect the coloring of the bead as some ashes react with colors differently than others.
How long will it take? Please allow 7-10 business days for me to make the beads.
